JOB OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT:

Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund seeks full-time Farm to Plate Program Director

The VSJF is seeking a Farm to Plate Program Director who can take this innovative, one-of-a-kind program to the next level.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record – who can manage federal and private funding sources, food system related projects, group facilitation, program evaluation, and network development. The primary focus of this position is to help coordinate the implementation of the Farm to Plate Strategic Plan (F2P) across the state over the next several years. This position is fully funded through June 30, 2012 with the strong possibility of continuation beyond that timeframe.

The Program Director reports to the Executive Director of the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund and is responsible for the success of the program. The applicant should have at least 3 years experience in agricultural development and/or a related food systems planning field. The minimum of a Bachelors degree is preferred.
